Precision drilling backed by proven field experience.

Built on years of remote drilling in tough places.

Radius is a BC based coring and geotechnical contractor known for taking on complex projects with remote logistics, deep holes, tight budgets and even tighter safety and environmental standards. Since 2004, we’ve focused on the western provinces and territories where our rigs, crews, and contacts give clients an edge.

What we stand for

Confidence & competence. We show up prepared, execute cleanly, and finish strong.
No layers. We offer a direct line to decision makers and solve problems in real time.
Efficiency & reliability. We achieve minimal downtime, high meters per shift, and accurate budgeting.
Small footprint by default. We deliver heli portable options, tidy pads, careful water use, and thoughtful reclamation.
“Every job has moving parts. Our role is to make sure those parts work together safely, efficiently, and without surprises.”
- Chuck Blunt, Owner, Radius Drilling

Two decades of drilling without compromise.

Founded in 2004 with a single rig and a focus on diamond coring, Radius Drilling has grown to a fleet of ten modern rigs and a team trusted across Western and Northern Canada.

Our early years were spent supporting mineral exploration in remote, fly-in locations. Over time, we expanded into geotechnical drilling, applying the same logistical precision and adaptability to tunneling, tailings pond verification, and other critical infrastructure projects.

Today, Radius remains an independent, owner-led company committed to accuracy, safety, and doing the job right the first time.

Strong environmental practices and social stewardship.

Radius works in remote, beautiful, and often fragile places. To preserve these places for generations to come, we set high standards and continuously update our best practices to minimize our environmental impact, while working in close partnership with Indigenous communities to maximize our social impact.

Job site reclamation

We return sites as close to their original condition as possible; removing equipment, waste, and restoring natural features where feasible.

Water conservation efforts

We use efficient pumping and recycling systems to minimize water use without compromising drilling performance.

Small footprint drill sites

Our rigs and support systems are designed for minimal disturbance, requiring less clearing and access than traditional setups.

Indigenous community partnerships

We work with local communities to build respectful relationships, provide employment opportunities, and share benefits from the projects in their territories.
